Trail Network

The Dragonfly Trails are Columbus' network of off-road, greenway trails promoting outdoor recreation, transportation, and connectivity in our community.

With 34 miles of existing, interconnected trails and 500,000+ annual trail users, the Dragonfly Trails are one of the largest, most popular trail networks in Georgia providing access to jobs, schools, neighborhoods, and the Chattahoochee River.

Master Plan

In 2015, Dragonfly Trails Inc. partnered with the PATH Foundation and Columbus Consolidated Government to create and adopt a 65-mile trail master plan building upon existing, non-connected trail infrastructure.

The Dragonfly Trails network is composed of 15 trail segments that will be developed in phases with the goal of connecting underserved areas of Columbus to Uptown and the Chattahoochee River. To date, the public-private partnership has invested $17M in new trail infrastructure resulting in five new trail connections spanning nine miles.
